Additional Report
This was a great game to watch for the neutral between two good competetive footballing teams, and on a very good surface. Boldmere, after a lot of pressing, took the lead through their Captain Fantastic Jo Hawkins. Boldmere continued to press and were good for the lead through to half time.
Half Time 0 - 1
The second half was as equally entertaining. Rubery made a few changes to their formation and soon managed to snatch the equaliser. The Boldmere lads re-grouped and gained a free kick on the edge of the area, after some good work from George and Kieran down the left hand side. Matty Goodby then delivered a great ball in for Josh Perryman to nod home. 2 -1 to Boldmere.
Rubery pressed for the equaliser but their few chances were thwarted by a quality defensive of Liam, Jack, Matty & George. Rubery never stopped trying, however, Boldmere should have put the game out of reach, with two late misses. Connor Wareing won Man of the Match for a combative midfield display.
